When this website is accessed, the web server processes technical data required to deliver the requested pages and to maintain the security and operation of the service. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested URL and HTTP method, response status, referrer, browser and operating-system information, and the server name and port.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(e) and Article 6(3) GDPR in conjunction with Section 3 of the Lower Saxony Data Protection Act and Section 3 of the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act. Server-log data is deleted after no more than 90 days unless a security incident or another legal obligation requires longer retention. It is not used for marketing or combined with other visitor profiles.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. It stores the key isrerm-color-mode in the browser's local storage solely to remember the selected light, dark, or system colour scheme. This setting remains on the visitor's device and is not transmitted to the website operator. It can be removed at any time by clearing the website data in the browser.

Email contact

When you contact us by email, the information you provide is processed only to respond to and manage your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(e) and Article 6(3) GDPR in conjunction with the applicable Lower Saxony laws. Where communication is intended to establish or perform a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies. The data is deleted when the enquiry has been conclusively resolved, unless statutory retention requirements apply.

Your rights
